Last January 22, 2013 our company joined the Red Hat Forum Manila 2013 hosted at Makati Shangri-La. I was assigned together with other colleagues to take care of our company booth. During the event I was able to meet Red Hat Singapore team which we will be working closely with.
The event went well. Most of the attendees came from large telco companies such as PLDT, Smart, Globe and Digitel. A few are from government agencies and schools.
Sir Ryan Ching, Me, Irish and Ms. Arlee. Early birds in the booth.
Everyone had a sumptuous meal. From Breakfast, snacks and Lunch. Makati Shangri-La served healthy dishes in the menu such as maki rolls, sashimi, crab salads and mouthwatering dimsum plates.
Me and my family are avid fan of telenovelas especially those produced by ABS-CBN Kapamilya Primetime. My boyfriend on the other hand, is fan of John Lloyd and Bea Alonzo love team so when abs-cbn announced the love team come back we felt really excited about it. The first week episodes was promising but failed to deliver in the end.
You’ll expect more of John Lloyd and Bea Alonzo team-up but this story was plain and simply boring. A Beautiful Affair focus went along with the business conflicts when Gen (Bea) needs to marry Edward (John Estrada) to regain the control of her family’s assets. Apparently, Gen was still in love with Leon. I won’t go into much detail only because I didn’t really watch the whole episodes.
So last Friday, the soap has finally come into end. The last week episodes were dragging and made us confuse where the conflict takes place in the story. The big revelation they were talking about is that Leon is part of Edward’s clan because he was Edward’s sister (Carlota) long lost son. The peek of the ending was Henry’s revenge where he hostage Edward’s family in a party.
After a commercial break the scene just skipped to the ending where in Leon and Gen is celebrating their son’s birthday. We were like “what happened to bomb? Did Edward died?”. After another commercial break, the bomb scene takes place. We got confused, we were not sure if it was on purpose or just mere mistake in playing the scenes in proper sequence.
The ending was Gen ended up with Leon while Edward decided to cast himself away to give way to a happily ever after ending for the two. It was one of the worst soap ending we watched. I hope they can make a more decent plot next time.
Someone was kind enough to suggest a more appealing name which is IBALIK ANG ALINDOG 2013. Sounds promising! :)
Happy we watched LES MISERABLES in lazy boy. I felt every scene. Not to mention yung sa likod namin na guy nakiki-duet sa pagkanta (na-move masyado sa movie) memorize in fairness kahit sablay sa pitch ☺ some applauded during the credits. looking forward for another movie like this! #lesmiserables (at Ultra 7 Eastwood Cinema)
Last year we booked to an expensive hotel in Boracay to celebrate our 7th anniversary. This year, we are going international as I booked tickets in advance for our Singapore trip. It’s my super advance birthday and anniversary gift for Marko.
As early as now, we are plotting our itinerary. If given enough time we will try to visit Malaysia for quick city tour :) Absolutely, EXCITED MUCH!!!
It’s not everyday you can show your special someone how much you love him on an extra level. I invited mine for a dinner date and surprised him with a movie treat. I kept on telling him “I love you"… Those moments when I just stare at him seems so priceless. In this life when everything are in great bliss, it’s nice to have someone who makes you happy for free ❤ p.s I love you @oleoleol !
