Lately, I’ve regain my hobby of drawing and now I’m trying to work my own piece of watercolor painting. As for beginners like me, I bought a best-buy watercolor tubes from National Bookstore and two paint brushes.The colors are limited though.
I started of painting my own version of tree as I am so obsessed with it. Tried playing with mixtures of red, blue and green.
My finish product reminds me of preschooler’s artwork. I know, I need to do a lot more practice. Hopefully, I can come up with a more decent art.
You know when you look in the mirror and feel like you’re not good enough? Well, let me tell you something. You’re perfect. Every inch of you. The way your thighs touch and the extra bit of weight on your belly. Your legs are beautiful, and your arms are, too. There’s no one else that looks the way you do. You’re special, you’re different from everyone else. So, why bother comparing? The thing is, other people compare themselves to you. They look at you and wonder, “god, why can’t I look like that?” People are jealous of you. People want to be you. It sounds crazy, I know. But when people look at you, they see more than you do. They see the way you laugh, and that little mischievous smiles you get sometimes. They see the way you stopped to talk to that girl that looked upset. That’s what matters. That’s what makes you beautiful. It’s not how shiny your hair is, or if your stomach goes in instead of out. It’s not looking like you just got off the runway. Beauty is love. It’s loving the world and everyone in it. So even if you don’t understand how perfect you are, fuck it. Fuck your calves and your stomach and the top of your arms. Fuck the way your thighs look when you sit down. Fuck it all because you love, and you are loved. And that’s what makes you beautiful.
